My story begins at 5:00 am. I had a mild hit that woke me from my slumber. Found the trusty O2 by the bed, aborted said CH and returned to sleep. By 7:00 am the fucking beast had returned, he was not happy this time. Grabbed the zomig nasal, and said "Go ahead, make my day." Unable to return to sleep at this time, I woke my husband to accompany me on a romp around our queen sized bed.  Smoked a cigarette............ mmmmmm. Then began to make plans on how we would spend the day. Our journey begins with a trip to our local coffee shop for two blended lattes. While in the store we talked to former Governor/Secretary of Human Services, the one and only Tommy Thompson. Almost forgot to even mention this part. (You know it was a great day when you almost forget about meeting some one so famous.) From there our travels took us through the heart of down town Madison, the people were out in all types of dress, engaging in numerous outdoor activities. We proceeded to Middleton to have our last meal at Rick's Cafe (they are closing and only doing catering from now on.)  After a filling breakfast of omellettes and hash browns, with gravy. We sauntered over to the local DSW, you ladies know what I'm talking about, right girls?  Where I only managed one "kill" but boy was it a sexy one. 4 inch black heeled sandal/dress shoes. They are sooooooo cute.  That in itself would have made for a great day. But I wasn't done yet. "To the north we go!" We traveled to Sauk Praire to the world famous Wollersheim winery, where we took a tour, tasted some wine, sat out in the wine garden with a freshly procurred bottle of Prairie Blush, THE FINEST BLUSH wine on the planet. (A bottle of which will be available for bidding at the convention) We had some great conversation with our fellow wine drinkers. After finishing our bottle, we went back inside and proceeded to buy 12 more assorted bottles for our humble yet very tasteful "cellar" at home. From there we went to the local Harley Davidson dealer for some "dream shopping". God does my husband look good sitting on one of those huge touring bikes. Of course I didn't look too shabby sitting behind him either. After pulling ourselves out of there before we did something like take out a second mortgage, we went for lunch. A very traditional Wisconsin fare was consumed........ BEER AND BRATS!!!!!!! Yummy.  Do you have any idea how many Harleys are in this damn state? Poo! And I'm not riding on a damn one of them, where is the justice in this world? I ask. Thomas needs to do something about this. Then we stopped at Rocky's Tap where I consumed a fine summer concoction, Baccardi Limon with cranberry juice and a twist of lime. If you've never had it, quit denying yourself. Induldge. Of course half way through my coctail, I was visited by our mutual friend again. Damn CH. I reached into my purse, took my zomig, went out to the car, sucked on some O2 and was back inside before the ice melted in my drink. Once we were finished there (meaning as soon as I could get my husband away from the TV, girls beach volley ball was on....... I didn't even know he was a fan?!?!) Go figure. Of course he couldn't actually name any of the competitors..... We found ourselves shortly back at home, where I thoroughly enjoeyd not one but two repeat performances of and adult manner. It was very easy to take his mind off of volleyball. But man my legs are tired now. So what is a girl to do with the rest of her day? Play miniature golf, of course. And judging by Thomas's performance, you guys may have to give him a very high handicap in July. Sorry honey. I wuv you!  So on the way home we stopped at Wendy's and got burgers and salads. Thought about going dancing, flipped a coin and the winner was, sitting at home in our pajammas, enjoying some fine wine, and reflecting on how much fun we had together today. Hmmmmm I wonder if I might get some more sex out of this deal? Hope your days were more wonderful than mine.

Well our sunny spring day started out chilly but sunny meeting friends at the local pub for signup for the Arm'd Forces MC poker run.......the bike sounded good and felt good.....Whamp-Paaaaaaaaaa. My chaps kept my legs warm and we all stood around the bikes yakkin waitin for the group to pull out.Sumthin about the rumblin and Whamp-paaaaaa's of all the bikes and all that sparkly chrome and fancy paint jobs and smells of exhaust and oil in the air. Brothers we are.....the closeness is almost sexy. Was a nice day together........lots of winding country roads thru alot of amish neighborhoods stopping of at alot of cozy pubs for a drink and sum brothership and comrodery. Ahhh the site amd smells of all that leather......and the wrap around sunglasses and pull down jessi james caps. I love it......I felt rite at home. Course we had to do alot of roadside stops for clutch adjustments and readjustmenst before we thunder'd off inbetween stops.......the smell of gas interupted the day when our gas tank sprung a leak for the last half of the run...........then a lock in our back touring pack fell out and bounched across the road in front of our buddy behind us but he thought the tire threw a stone. Luckil'y we didn't hit anouther bump and toss the lid off and lose the stuff in the pack folded up and it scatter along the road or extra shirts or jackets end up flying thru the air landing on a rider behind us's face. My purse was back there too. Our floorboards scraped thru alot of sharp turns and thru out sum sparks I guess for those behind us to see on those sharp curvey roads and occational kick stank grabbin or stabbin. Stopped at the last stop for awards and all sat together ordering dinner and yuckin it up with topic of conversation being how all our shit kept breakin or fallin off cuz our bikes are OLD.......A good day with lots of good closest friends.. We left a trail of small parts, scrapeings and gas for about a 130 run..........The sunny day was wonderful but the wind was freezeing. Nothin more fun then bein on a nice harley on a nice day with a group of close friends all together........I'd like to forget about the messin up part tho. Old stuff sure can be a pain. We LOVE our old stroker bikes but a NEW one for trips and long rides would be NICE.......runnin to get lottery tickets Monday.......

You guys would look HOT on a bike.......hee-hee. The most fun is when ya can get a group together and go for a scenic ride with NO TIME LIMITS.......leave the watches at home and stop off here and there and kick back and relax and yak a while then head on down the road. It's a blast stoppin at places with a deck or porch area to sit out on and hang out and either a band later or music playin off the jukebox and just relax........with our friends we yuck it up big time and our faces hurt the next day from laughin !! I love doin that. Problem is Brad has sum sort of built in TIMER.....he is always watchin the clock and always in a hurry even if we have no place we have to be or time to be anywhere inparticular. For sum events and parties whatever you just get there when ya get there I SAY attitude verses all this rushing !Dunno HOW to break a person of that !? Had a great time in Myrtle Beach sittin on porches and decks watchin the ocean and bikes go by sippin on sum beers waitin for dinner. Man that was AWESOME !! Summers are jus too short here.....we tend to get into too much of a rush to do it all (which is gettin old......tired of tryin to be 10 places at once and no time to enjoy any of them) and squeeze in all the fun we can. Time goes faster that way......or so it seems. We have two bikes....both old Harleys and one has a sidecar. But he is always wrenchin on them.......I prefer OLD STOCK bikes but would love a new one for longer trips and all day rides. Nothin beats an old shovel pieces and parts Pam
If ya's do get a bike ride like EVERYONE is out to get ya.....never underestamate a stop sign in the other guys lane and be extra cautious at all times. Ride safe.......but ride free...........
