I saw it !! I think the Cubs catcher was right to punch the Sox's catcher. The White Sox catcher is a real yahoo and not liked by alot of players, including his own fellow team mates

| Strap on your laughing hats, cuz ZS is bringin' the funny... That is the funniest thing I have ever heard. The Sox love AJ, and watch your replay again. AJ was going for his helmet that fell off and was behind Barrett. Barrett grabbed him and sucker punched him. I really would love to know where you got the info that the Sox don't like AJ. Tell you what, watch the World Series '05 movie or this weeks TWIB and get the facts straight. Quote:Did he think Pierzynski was going to attack him? ``I didn't know what was going on,'' Barrett said. Pierzynski said he was simply trying to retrieve his helmet, which rolled toward the first-base side. ``When he grabbed me, I don't think he understood my helmet was right behind him and I was trying to pick up my helmet,'' Pierzynski said. ``I tried to take a step around him and he grabbed me. I thought he was going to say 'Hey are you OK?' And I was going to say the same thing. The words came out, I got hit and the next thing I know, all hell broke loose.'' That the punch came from someone he has known since his late teens shocked Pierzynski, who extended a ``branch'' afterward by trying to reach out to Barrett through a clubhouse attendant. ``I didn't receive anything back, so I don't know what that means,'' Pierzynski said. |

Don't ya just love it when a bunch of multi-millionaires act like spoiled brats. Too bad they are so wrapped up in themselves that they can't do their jobs which is to give the fans a good time. Professional (so-called) athletes suck. Big time.

| Is he an agitator? Yes. But what agitates other tams is his desire to put winning and performing well, and supporting his team mates, every pitch of every game. He's loved by everyone on the team, the entire front office, and all the White Sox fans. As to the sucker punch....even his (barrett's) own manager said it (pierzynski's) was a clean play and played the way the game is supposed to be played. Pierzynski and Barrett were talking at the plate today. When Baker was asked about what might have been said, Baker (Cubs manager) said: I don;t know what they were talking about. I was surprised to see them talking. If I was him, after being punched like that "I wouldn't have been in a talking mood. Even Barrett said he was wrong. Pierzynski's only problem was that he collided with the only player on the Cubs team that has any balls.

Pierzynski's only problem was that he collided with the only player on the Cubs team that has any balls. And , ironically--he didn't have the ball when they collided.
