Taking your kids to the convention...

Jasper was sitting on my lap on Friday while I was going through my pics on webshots and all of a sudden he sat bolt upright and said "go back mummy, go back!" So I went back (like a good mummy) to see what had caught his eye and it was a pic of Jonny. He shouted "stop" and looked at it for a minute and said in that deep voice kids put on sometimes "Oh he is going to get it when his mummy see's him. You're not supposed to draw on walls or arms - only on paper"
He's been running around in his favourite t shirt today which has a "pirate" (ie a skull and crossbones) on the front and he keeps shouting "Rock and Rollllllll" God only knows where he got that from but it's amusing me greatly!
I'm bringing the little bugger to Milwaukee so no doubt he'll ask Jonny for some tips on how to not get in trouble for drawing on yourself Roll Eyes
It did make me think of the other pitfalls though..

Jasper:  Why can't I draw all over my arms like Jonny does?
Jasper: Why do I have to get a hair cut.. Jonny doesn't?
Jasper: Beer is SO a breakfast food!
Jasper: £1000 for the redhead!
Jasper: Where's my cheese?
Jasper: "Yo Motherf*cker" IS a good way to talk to daddy!

Then there is mummy's friend Narnia who talks on the phone. Did you know Narnia is in America not the wardrobe? Well all the other kids in Bingham do now!

You make it a hard job to be a mother y'know! LOL

I want to be there with my camera when Jonny sits down with Jasper attempting to answer the tykes questions.  THAT ought to be a hallmark moment for sure.

If we were to attend the convention and if we had kids I would for sure bring them and introduce them to everyone. I would make sure they were comfortable, well fed and on their best behavior.

Then when nobody was looking we would

go check into another hotel.

I'm sure the King would be willing to power the bottoms of any of the ladies attending the convention as well.  He's just that kind of guy.

See, that got me so damned rattled, that I double posted and had to go back and delete one (the deleted one is quoted by the *power* ranger).
