Quick Update, current info to date

Well, I went to Miles City this weekend. I was very surprised at how much it has grown since I was there last. Still uncertain if I want to live there, as it is hot, and very dry most of the year.
The interview seemed to have gone rather well. It is the most layed back interview I have ever had in my life. The guys that did the interview, showed up in blue jeans and t-shirts. (my kind of place) I never wear a tie, so was not that out of place in business casual dress. (slacks and golf shirt) The job is pretty much what I already do with my home business. The benifits are ok, but not great. The pay is pretty good compaired to what I get now. They have a couple more interviews to do this week, before making a decision. I am not sure what I will do if offered the job.. I will keep you posted as I know more

Hey All,
Still study'n away. I got a call this morning from a place that I had sent my resume to last week. They want me to come in for an interview. The catch is that it is in the far south east corner of the state. 365 miles from here, roughly 6 1/2 hours driving. (driving at 70)
While I am not certain I want to live in Miles City, I am going to check the place out this weekend and see what they have to offer. It will be a major life change if we go there. That thought is a little intimidating, but nothing is certain at this point. They want to meet me on Sunday afternoon, for the interview.
Anyway, I have a number of apps out, and the position I really want is a state job, that requires all my current skills, and they want a few I don't have, but can learn. That job would be perfect, as it is close to where I live now, and it would give me room to grow in the profession.
So, that is where I am at now.. will let you know more as I do

Go for the state job, even though pay might be lower, the benifits will be good. And of course better chance for moving up.
