the short one first: Pain is Nothing Pain is nothing. And everything just the same. Pain is nothing. As constant as the rain. Pain is nothing. before: Monster in my Home In my mind, where I'm alone, I find a place, I call home. Yet in my home, a monster lives. Made of pain, this monster is. I want him out, but he attacks, and beats me down, sending shivers down my back. He trys to destroy me, but he can't. And when he fails, He begins to rant. I push and fight, 'til he's finally out. Then he whines, screams and shouts. But I can't hear him, when I'm safe in my head. And after this fight, I'm past ready for bed. after: After the Attack Heart breaking, earth shaking. The pain finally goes away. Feeling everything all at once. Happy, sad, angry, giddy, hyper, depressed, beaten. The heast has finally gone. The muscle seizing pain disappears in a snap. I pray that the demon doesn't come back. Like music darkness floats through my brain. Trying to stay awake. Its hard to stay sain. My mind goes blank and my eyes are blurry. Thank God its over but the aftershock is worse. It only lasts for a few minutes, but it feels like hours. Then the monster is back, and I wish I was dead. Hope everyone likes them. I'll get more to ASAP. Felicia

"Like" isn't the right word Felicia.. they are too accurate to be "likeable".. but for a description of what it feels like to be "me" or anyone of us - Wow. I can't believe you're only 14 with some of your poetry it's just so impressive. You are going to go a long way. lots of love Helen xxx

Thanks for the support. I've been in a really dark spot lately and getting hit because of the wack weather we're getting up here. The only thing that seems to help is writing. There has just been so much going on lately that I've been going crazy. Its nice to have a palce where I can come and everyone understands whats its like to live with hell in their head and try to function as normally as possiable. I know I'm new but you guys are like a second family to me. Because of my dad everyone's name is well known in our house. Thanks again. I'll try to get back soon. Felicia

You write very well Felicia. I just wish you didn't have to know the pain of CH, and the emotional darkness it can bring. Keep writing. It is a great escape. Keep sharing your poetry too. It's always cool to see the progression of a writer. Peace & Hugs, Carl D
