OUCH.

I rode around Churchill Downs on a Volkswagen tour van in 1961. Probably got up to 70! True

LOL nice...

I had to work today, and it was the first time I've missed watching the Derby in 25 years.  I was born in Louisville, and when I was a baby, my dad ran in the Kentucky Derby Marathon...it's a week long celebration down there.  I also did a project on it in 7th grade.  I know all the words to My Old Kentucky Home.  I vaguely remember going to a hot air balloon race when I was a child.

And....I know how to make Derby Pie - which is really really really good!! Smiley
