You know.... (vent...not CH)

Because of low census on the unit, I was given vacation from 7-3 today, but my shift is 7-7. I waited until 40 minutes ago to find out that I didn't get vacation from 3-7. Just my luck...
Woke up this morning with nausea/vomiting episode #7 in less than a month now. Some start to my "vacation" day. GI tests still upcoming on the 15th and june 1st.
Why does my life suck?
Gotta get a shower and go to Philly to work for 4 freaking hours. I give up.

Well it actually was a nice easy assignment - 2 preemie twins...both girls...just working on feeds.
Part of what has me down is that now that I finished the steroid taper over the weekend, the synovitis is coming back. My left wrist is swelling up and getting hard to move - same with ankles, knees and now my hips are really hurting more too. This is not good...
And with that flare, it is making my headaches so much worse... 
Tomorrow I'm supposed to work 7-7, but this time I only put in for vacation from 3-7...so that way I'd just get out early, if anything. We'll see....
Thanks for the support you two. I've been really depressed lately - long story, but hopefully I'm on the right track. I'm actually going to my psychiatrist twice a week now.
It's just a fine line between okay and really, really CHitty....

Sorry ya had a bad day lizzie.....one thing I noticed is when I stop moveing I 'rig-a-mortis' up bad........I'll be sitting or holdin sumthin and go to move and stuff is like 'froze' up or sumthin esp my hands. I'll get up to walk away or move and can't get out of the position I was in. Gosh I watch old folks 'mill about' these days all bent over and WONDER if that is what there problem is too ? I don't want to get like THAT !!!!!??? Are they in alot of pain when they hobble by at the stores or down the street all haunched over takein tiny baby steps ? 'Really' bothers me. Woke up last nite feelin like my spine had exploded. I like to slow down on meds or quit for a few days to see where I am at with stuff.......not sure that's always in my best interest tho. Slow but sure Pam
I went thru TWO years of solid nausia and have NO IDEA why unless it was sum sort of trick from mother nature faze !? Was a real struggle cuz everyone would be havein fun while I tried to fight off that 'feeling'.......fineally I seem to have gotten over that odd spell of wierdness. No fun I must admit..................
