I dont really understand torrents.  I am reading about them now.  Hopefully i will figure this out quickly so we can see Part 1 before we decide to watch part 2

Does anyone know where I can get a copy to view on VHS or DVD?

The only way I know how is to tape it to VHS and mail it.

I am seeing if I can download it first.  Please don't delete it yet.

You download and install a Bittorent client, you go to a web site that offers .torrent files. You click on the .torrent or where it says download. Your browser should send the file to you Bittorrent client. The download starts. The only thing you have to do is keep the torrent running until you have a 1:1 share ratio or greater. No files on  your computer are ever shared, only the file that is downloaded, and you never share the whole file with 1 person.

Bittorent is fantastic because you don't download from a server. Each file is broken into many small pieces. You download from other people who have pieces you need, and send pieces you have to others that need them. When you have a complete download, you become a seeder, which means you keep the torrent going by making sure all the pieces are available. To prevent people from downloading and just leaving, your download speed is slowed way down if you don't upload. If you have a router you will possibly see a NAT error in your client. This can be fixed by port forwarding in your router, but it is beyond most people and not necessary in large swarms. The nature of Bittorent makes it possible to stop your client and restart it later without anyone losing out. I run a Bittorrent client 24/7 at a reduced download rate. It takes longer to get the file but I never have to deal with Bittorrent taking all of my Bandwidth when I am browsing the web. I hope this helps Smiley

It has helped quite a bit.  I have Azureus now.  I have found the torrent file on TVtorrents.  Now, I just have to figure out how to download.

Start Azureus, click file, open, torrent file, and then when the new window pops up, click  the " Add file" button in the upper left, then browse to where the .torrent file is, and click OK. You also should be able to make a short cut on your desktop and drag and drop the the .torrent file to the Azureus shortcut, and the client should open and start downloading. I guess you need to look at the Azureus site as how to integrate .torrent files with Azureus in your browser.

Thanks again, I am downloading it and now I need to get a DVD burner so we can watch it on TV.  I think Ill download a free full trial of Ashamroo's burner on Download.com.

Once I figure this out, I think I might be able to do this.

I normally watch them on my computer, but sometimes I use the laptop's TV out to view on the TV. The video will probably be DivX encoded, get the codecs here if you need them. The file is small enough to burn to a CD. Check your DVD player, some now will play DivX files, if so you are all set. just burn the video to a CD and watch it on the TV. Most DVD players also will play VCD's, so you could go that route too. No need to buy a DVD burner unless you really want to. Someone else will have to help you with making hard copies, as I never do that. I want everything on hard-drives, to save space and for ease of use ( for me). In fact I need to learn how to rip DVDs and encode the files to DivX so I can put away DVDs as a backup.

I got a 30 day full version trial of Ashampoos DVD burner.  I should be able to burn it VCD and hopefully my DVD player will be able to see it.
