I took these this evening, especially for you guys. I made a special trip out of town this evening to get them. They are taken just 6 miles outside of Great Falls. The pictures are looking west, towards the Rocky Mountains. The Butte in the front is called Charlie Russell Square Butte. CMR is very important to this area, so you might want to Google him. Consider this my "make up to you" for stepping out... Lance

Thanks Jas! You should come out some time He Vig, not many people know about CMR outside of this area. Paul, those are straight out of the camera. I used the fixed lens because I was on the motorcycle, and had no place for the camera with the zoom lens. Jonny, the closest is 6 miles behind me...

Wow! Great pics. Looks like a good place to strip mine for coal and drill for oil. on Apr 30th, 2006, 2:24pm, Dragnlance wrote: Jonny, the closest is 6 miles behind me... |
