Once again, Pujols proves why he is one of the best hitters that baseball has ever seen. Obviously we can't call him the best because he hasn't one a triple crown or batted over 400...YET. But today, Pujols set a new record, one that is a very hard feat to accomplish. The big man hit his 14th HR of the month. The record had previously been held by Griffey jr and Luis Gonzales. For those who have still yet to figure out why this is so amazing, its like hitting a HR every other day. Card's Rock! Carl D

Didn't Sosa hit 20 hrs in July the year he & McGuire were battling for the record? ..... Pujols may have set a record for April, but definitely not the record for most HRs in a month. If my wife doesn't give birth before then, we're going to Dolphins Stadium this Friday to watch the Cards put on a clinic against our lowly Marlins..... Section 145, Row 14, Seats 19-22.

| Who ended up winning that home run race though? Pretty sure that that person played for the Cardinals.

You guys shouldn't even be talking about a couple of cheaters like McGwire and Sosa in an Albert Pujols thread....at least Barroid Bonds name hasn't come up yet. When it's all said and done you'll be able to tell your grandkids about the great Albert Pujols. What he's doing is history in the making. And the best part is he's chemical free plus he's one of the good guys in the game today. Jim
