That part is just normal for me.  I think it has to do with lack of hair.

Might not be the drug Dan -- your a s s might be too big and cutting circulation to your brain.

Hope the side effects work their way out Dan.  Hang in there.

Stay away, stay far far away...I was on Effexor 300 mg for panic attacks for 2 years, it turned me into a numb, mindless boob...I didn't have any feelings, happy, sad, mad, scared, I just walked through life w/no feelings at all, NOW, a friend of mine takes it 75 mg and LOVES it, maybe I was on too high dosage, but getting off that stuff was the absolute worse thing I have ever had to do in my entire life, I felt like I was getting electrocuted...it was totally awful...but you might be like my friend and it works great for you, my personal experience was a bad one... Undecided

I took 300 mg of effexor for depression and it helped greatly with that.  I had heard horror stories of people trying to go off of it.  I switched from effexor to wellbutrin and had no problems at all.  Now I am back on 150mg of effexor.  I have just possitive things to say about it.  But be warned it is known for having terrible withdrawl side effects like electric shocks etc.

I had a bad reaction to it. But we all have different reactions to different meds. I'm one of the few success stories on Topamax. But Effexor -- no way Jose!!!!

I take 100mg of Trazadone and don't seem to have any reaction to it. It was trial and error till we found it.

Good luck and lots of hugs  BD
