Shuffled off to Buffalo

Got home at about 8:30 tonight. I'm OK. 
Nani was right. I had a MD appointment on Friday but wound up in the ER thinking that the weakness and numb feeling in my right arm might be the beginnings of a stroke. It wasn't but not that that didn't stop the ER geeks from sending me by ambulance to Millard Fillmore Hospital Cardiac Care Unit in Buffalo for about 6,000 tests. It's a big deal and I was about the only one not scheduled for a bypass. Makes you think about all we will go through for a few more years.
I didn't have a hearattack or a stroke. I'm told that it's arterial fibrillation that isn't uncommon. Probably not T. I. A. Anyway, they say there is nothing going on but that I need some heart slower downers and some other crap. That's all I need: more drugs. Anyway, one good thing is that these couple of days was one helluva physical exam. Believe it or not, this old fart is in pretty good shape. Nice to know that no scary stuff is lurking around. If the beast were doing so, he would have be scanned to death by now.
I'm sorry I wasn't smart enough to get hold of someone here but the first day, I wasn't very close to a phone. From now on, I carry some numbers. I feel bad about it but dumbfounded that you worked hard to find me. I'm once more verklempt.
Damn. I haven't been in Buffalo in more than a year. I'm not counting this as a visit because of the Godawful swill they dole out to impatient patients. Bleaugh.
Rats. Now I have to catch up on the posts. (Okay: tell me all the good ones Jonny) 
I really don't know what to say. You people are sumpin'

Relieved to hear you are ok.
Is it arterial fibrillation or Atrial fibrillation? If it is the latter, you might want to check out Dr. Weil's Circulatory Breathing Techniques, which he claims can often shut off that type of arrhythmia. It might help you get off the extra meds sooner. I have more info on that at home, will check on it later.
