Anyone hear anythin further on WHY they are recallin Purdue brand chicken......heard it on the news the other day they were doin it and mostly chicken sent to restrants (theres differant grades ??) but never heard 'nuther word about it or WHY !? Chicken cripple Pam

Purdue had just stated a while back they weren't too concern'd bout bird flu cuz they raise there own chickens and no outside birds come in. But.....it's the feed trucks that is goin to cause the spread for them. Got a friend that does that and he said he has to completely hose and disenfect his truck inbetween deliveries to chicken farms and do the tires and underside of the truck and every nook and cranny. As if bacteria and virus's aren't able to hide ? Duh. Guess they even have to wear wierd plastic bootie things too.
