What a Freaking Bummer ( MAJOR RANT )

I am going to the DC area on Thursday for medical appointments set up months ago. I had scheduled to see my Neurologist early Fri. He is retiring due to advanced Parkinson's. He has been a life saver for me even though we had not yet found any meds that worked. He would listen, learn, visit this and the OUCH site and he cared greatly about all of us! I once sat in his office while he told the pharm rep that was pushing Relpax, that the drug company really should spend some R&D money studying clusters and not just focus on migraines. His nurse just called me to cancel and see if I wanted to re-schedule next month. I live ten hours away and Linda already has taken the days off to accommodate this trip.
So now I get to go Friday @ 11:00 am to see a quack at Georgetown Hospital to have Spinal Distress Discography which is essentially 4 epidurals at the same time with dye while they move you around to cause more pain and take pictures at the same time. Oh F##King Boy. And if that doesnt trigger a banger I don't know what will! And Saturday is my effing Birthday. Seeing Peter again before he retires was the only silver lining and it just disappeared. F##k
...ok..sorry, I'm done now......PFDANS...TIM

Sorry to hear about the canceled appt. Tim. Not quite sure what a Spinal Distress Discography entails but it sounds like a fancy word for a meylogram.

Holy crap that made my back hurt (more) just reading about that spineal sumthin or other stress test........I won't put myself thru that shit.......I think they want to find out exactly how to duplicate the pain you feel in your back so they can see with the dye exactly what areas twist or turn caused it to FIX IT ? Don't poke or touch me there Pam
