Meggie, my 13 year old daughter has been growing her hair out for 3 years with the intended purpose of donateing it for Locks of Love. Well today is the day....I'll take before, during and after photos and update you all later today. I'm so proud of her. Meg has a kind gentle and giving heart and her compassion for her fellow human beings is such gift at her young age. Proud Mom, Pegg Edit : Before... During... After.... Think her friends will recognize her on Monday?

That is fantastic, how personal of a gift can you give to a complete stranger other than your hair. My daughter does the same thing. I think it is great for young girls to do. I am proud of your daughter for such a selfless act. You have a right to be proud and brag on her. Rodger

Pegg, you have the right to be proud. I seldom see the good part of modern kids here, so it it truely nice to see that all kids are not bad. Thank you for restoring my faith, and thank your daughter for such a gift. Lance

You have raised your children well. My Grandmother was just telling me about this program last week. Seems her Pastor lets his hair grow out and has it cut and donates it to locks for love and just keeps repeating the cycle. Kind of suprised me of a guy doing that but I guess why not. There hair is just as good.
