After 26 days in 2 different hospitals in 2 different states ... I'm finally back! All that $hit and still getting hit 
Came home to a fried computer. Hard drive is toast. Lost EVERYTHING. 
Went out and bought me a new one today. (Compaq, 1.8 mghz, 100 GB HD, 512 MB Ram, cdrw/dvd combo) Still have lots to configure.
Back to lurking

Dumb question... if it was just a bad hard drive, why not repair it?
Hard drive costs around $70.00, new computer $500.00+
Just asking, since, as a pewter tech, I could save ya some money....
