Day after day I come here to see my family. Day after day I step in the shit that someone has had the audacity to leave in the middle of our collective living room. This should be a place of solace for those in pain --a "happy place" for people with aching heads to come to and try to find advice, relief, understanding, empathy and sympathy. Lately due to the actions of a very few individuals it has not been.
I am sick of it. While this may seem harsh and I am not entirely sure if it has ever been done before I would like for this post to act as a petition.
Now in order for this to work you must NOT reply to any more of the troll-like posts that may arise from this petition.
Simply answer agree or disagree.
I propose the following:
For gross misconduct and violating message board rules I submit that CHTom be banned/IP address blocked from this message board for the greater good of the clusterville community.
Do you agree with this petition and wish to see him banned/blocked?

I have run into alot of trolls when out.........creeps me out how they strike up conversation and ya find out later they aren't who they say they are. Seems to be alot of that goin on or they WIERD OUT on ya next time ya see em. Really creeps me out.....seems these people are out lookin to set people up and 'play human' for the nite.

I agree 100% and I really hope it is done, not sure if it will work but the gesture is very appropriate at this point.
I also think a log check should be done on the threads that involve the trolling, including this thread, to see if any of them and the alleged trolls come from the same IP subdomain. Judging from the lack of respect for any rules of decency from these fellows I would not be suprised if large amounts of Internet sock-puppetry is going on.
It's ridiculous that anyone should be allowed to cause this much disruption in any community. I hope technology finds a way to make this kind of bs impossible in the future and make people accountable for their behavior.

I see a lot less response to some the funny/meaningful posts on this board than Trolls get to their nonsense posts.
Delete a user - they'll sign up with another. Block an IP -they'll use a proxy server.
They can't cause grief if you stop reacting to them. I've said it before, just stop feeding it and the'll have to find somewhere else to play.
