All we got around here is sum local 'overpriced' HD shops and a few private owned shops......nothing big and no big name builders......but Brad's helped several friend's build sum nice custom bikes and he enjoyed doin it. But it sucks when ya hear the friend at a bike show braggin all about his cool bike to people walkin around lookin at it and all the details how he (the friend) built it 'himself' ?! Credit due Pam

We have one cool biker bar not too far but big city people started comein down now (over an hours drive or ride) to get out of town and no one know them and see them party that would care. Several from the justice system.......kinda wierd cuz we all know there jus weekend warriers. There the routy ones too !!! Bet on a normal day they'd never even talk us tho. Sheesh !

you know Pam i'd love for you to come out here, Jim Nasi as I stated earlier is so level headed and humble it's unreal, if you show interest in bikes he'll stand there and shoot the shit with you forever. He's one of the builders who came up with the internal throttle. He's actually the first I've seen do it but he won't take full credit for it. He's still of the mind if you're into bikes lets shoot the shit. The reason or one of the main reasons I bought a honda this time around was one financialy, but also if you walk inton a hd dealership nowadays they look at you as if the bike is alreadyb sold and treat you as such. when I bought my honda the owner and I shot the shit about bikes for Quite awhile without ever discussing buying a bike. after I bought it were the phone calls how do you like the bike? IS EVERYTHING COOL with it and such. You can't get that from any hd dealership which kind of pisses me off, because it wasn't the yuppy fucks that kept them in business it was us die hard live to ride ride to live people. and they forget that shit. I was faithful to them why should they bend me over and fuck me up the ass to say thankyou.  There still are cool people left who ride for the pure joy of riding left and I intend to meet as many as I can before I die.  I'm off my soap box now sorry   Jim

That 3 cylinder motor in  the Arlen Ness bike, is it a one-of-a-kind or are they available to the public?

I know Arlen and Corey Ness. Rode to Sturgis with them a couple times from Cal. Their shop is in Dublin, CA.

That motor is one-of-a-kind. The bike is for sale for $250,000.

If you want a motor just like it I'm sure they'll be glad to build you one.  You'll need a custom frame and drive train for it.

We've had a few cool friends work at HD shops and two in bike sales......but heard now they work on basically commission only ? Wonder if other shops do that.......as much as we love harley's Brad hates goin in HD stores. Got him to go a couple times last year cuz my girlfriend worked in the clothing and apparel section so we rode out with her husband to go visit and have dinner at the steak house next door. Her hours sucked.....had to work every weekend. Yet a couple young 'twinkies' would go out and party and not show up for work and get away with it makein her do more. Brad jus hates the high pressure uppity muck sales people and outragious prices......and he asked for a couple simple things and they didn't have it ?? (oil filter and sum type of chain) Yeah we'd LOVE to head out yer way sumday.......is it summer longer ? Run what cha brung Pam  Grin
