My son is just steps away from being whole :))

As some of you know my son Colin age 4, was born with a condition called extrophy, where his internal parts were on the outside of his body. Most were distroyed during the intense growth of the human body in the process and the docs did what they could to make him whole again.
However, 2 years ago we met whith Dr. Anthony Atala, the Chief Tissue Engineer at Boston Childrens Hospital, and we discussed this procedure, at the time it was still experimental but now where on our way to it becoming reality, hopefully someday this will happen for us, hopefully sooner than later. 
Someday we might have a cluster cure too, science is everything

Science certainly can be amazing.I hope Colin will have a successful attempt at this surgery.I will keep Colin and all the future benificiaries of this medical breakthrough in my thoughts and prayers.makes the small things I go through in my life so pitiful compared to what so many kids have to go through.
