I see the light is on, anyone home?

Just a bad day, maybe having a pity party I guess. Just needed to vent a little. Can't sleep. shit.

The interview went ok I guess. The regional mgr did the interview and he told me that, while they were impressed with me and what I'd previously done, my lack of experience w/in this particular position is a "weakness".  hmmmm.  not  a good sign.  So after 4 months of unemployment, things are not looking hopeful.

Driving to my bro's to pick up the new puter, which I am now using, a big rock flew off a truck, or from a truck or due to the truck and broke my windshield...of my new car...which I also was going to my bro's to make the last payment on. (bought used from him)

So after not being home ALL DAY and only being home for approx. 10 mins, hubby comes home and grills me on every freakin little thing, including but not limited to why I didn't know exactly where the rock came from,  why I didn't know the company name of the vehicle, why the dogs food bowl wasn't filled by 6 pm (son's job), why my daughter didn't finish the load of laundry she started in the morning (I wasn't here, I don't know what happened prior to 12:30 pm when I picked her up to take her to work till 6:15 pm when I picked her up to bring her home).

Then the jerk who is supposed to be giving my daughter driving lessons, who btw was paid up front for 7 lessons, calls her back and YELLS at her when she said she would meet him tomorrow at 8 am- an hour away from us to get there. She has tried to contact him for 2 weeks and he hasn't returned her/our calls and now gets pissed and yells at her that "this isn't the way we do business". So I got on the phone and he starts yelling at me that he doesn't care if I was the president of the US, NOONE talks to him like that! Mind you, I am sitting right next to Hannah and listening on speaker phone as she is trying to keep calm and not get mad at his crappy, yelling attitude.

So hubby and I end up in a huge fight, I am feeling like a total f'in loser, can't sleep so came down stairs to my puter, which is in the same room as the couch that he decided to sleep on. He hadn't been down here for5 minutes with the light off, I told him I couldn't sleep so go to bed and I'd stay down here.........so what does he do?  goes up to teh bedroom for 10 minutes, then gets his boots on and tells me he is leaving so he can GET SOME SLEEP IN HIS TRUCK AT WORK.  Its now 12:12 am and my husband just left me feeling like shit and now I am an even bigger loser than I was 5 minutes ago.  screw it. I amsick of everything right now.

Jen, think about this famous quote:

BB I love that quote! That's brilliant.
Jen, some day's you're the pigeon and someday's you're the statue.. why is it some of us only seem to have statue days?!
You need to give him a short sharp shock. You are NOBODY's doormat and you don't deserve that crappy attitude.
All the other stuff, well it happens and there isn't much you can do about it except get through it.. we love you though and the light is ALWAYS on here for you.
BTW - if he doesn't behave nicely I'll IM you some suggestions!  Wink Grin
lots of love

its 2:36 now.  vision is a little blurred. guess I should go to bed.    I hate this.  He has no clue how much I am in love with him and it kills me when we fight.  The rest of the crap is just that- crap.  But you're right helen - i really  am having a statue year, four months of it thus far.   but dammit I hate wehn he's being such a jerk. We were supposed to go out saturday night, first time in 4 years. every time we're supposed to do anything together, we always end up in an argument and he won't speak to me for days and the plans are ruined. every time it happns.  going to bed nw.  I dont knwo why I bother with even giving a shit anymore.

Jenn, frying pan to the head usually brings them around quickly.

Seriously, every relationship has it's bumps.  Hubby and I fought constantly for 6 months once over stupid crap.  We finally sat down and talked and realized it wasn't worth it.  Just remember that you do love each other but you're nobody's doormat.  I really hope things get better for you soon.

thanks all. I know its all due to overall stress we're dealing with which hasn't let up in months.  Guess we always seem to take it out on the ones we love. Which really sux.

I need to find a way out of this damn rut. Like being in a room with no doors or windows.
