I met a doc with CH

Wow this was the first time I ever met another person in person with CH. It was my new endo who I saw yesterday. In the course of explaining my problems with thyroid , I told her that my TSH shoots up when I have a crisis with something called cluster headaches. Not only did she know about them but is a sufferer as well. How cool was that. We had a small chat off topic about CH. She is episodic. I am gonna send her info on this site.

Very cool! Last year, I went to a doctor specializing in sleep disorders. I was telling him about my CH, and he told me that he was also a CH'er. Knew all about O2 and all kinds of other things related to clusters. It was pretty awesome. Carrie

Any chance you could lovingly encourage her to join the site and post? Another doctor on the site who is a sufferer and a contributor, life on the board just keeps getting better!!! Guiseppi

I do hope that we'd get those docs to join ch.com, too. I haven't bet, yet, other ch'ers. I bet it was fantastic! Best wishes & PFdays, Sanna

Yeah I am gonna send her a letter of thanks plus shamelessly hit her up for some cash for my cancer walk this summer and I will definitely put in the letter ch.com don't worry. I hope she visits. But she seems so normal and all the people I meet virtually with ch (myself included) are so nutz..... I hope she can take this family hehe. She seems to have it together and is episodic. My doc says I am a rough case with CH and the worst migraneur he has ever seen. I am honored

If I were a Doc with CH posting here I would want to be treated as a fellow CHer who just happens to be a Doc.

While in the hospital last week I met a cardiologist who had an outstanding understanding of cluster headache's I was impressed as well as wy wife. When I checked into the hospital. They Denied several meds I had been taking, The Main one Verapamil. 2 x 240mg. He said keep taking it, that's not your problem, keep taking meds you need to take unlill were done. We will get you fixed up in a week or two. That meant a pacemaker. Pulse 32-48

Some Chewy guy may call me a fraud. I would love to come and shove the medical records up his ass. Short of the homeless shelter.
