Dear Internal Revenue Service: Enclosed you will find my 2005 tax return showing that I owe $3,407.00 in taxes. Please note the attached article from the USA Today newspaper; dated 12 November, wherein you will see the Pentagon (Department of Defense) is paying $171.50 per hammer and NASA has paid $600.00 per toilet seat. I am enclosing four (4) toilet seats (valued @ $2,400) and six (6) hammers (valued @ $1,029), which I secured at Home Depot, bringing my total remittance to $3,429.00. Please apply the overpayment of $22.00 to the "Presidential Election Fund," as noted on my return. You can do this inexpensively by sending them one (1) 1.5" Phillips Head screw (see aforementioned article from USA Today newspaper detailing how H.U.D. pays $22.00 each for 1.5" Phillips Head Screw). One screw is enclosed for your convenience. It has been a pleasure to pay my tax bill this year, and I look forward to paying it again next year. Sincerely, A Satisfied Taxpayer

I wonder how much the government pays for the keys to his jail cell.

I posted this in my office and have a couple of clients who were off to Home Depot..... I think it's a great idea.... I did suggest they send copies of everything to their favorite Senator... - just in case the IRS doesn't have a sense of humor this year... But you know, if everyone would do this -- it might get the point across.... And we could cut the National Deficit while we're at it... Ummmm not a bad idea at all.... This is a TAX BREAK that makes sense!!!! Hugs BD

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Sounds good to me!! I don't think I've mentioned here that Jefferson neglected to report their scholarship to me to the IRS. Lucky me. They reported $25,300 to the IRS to add to my 2004 taxes. I just started my very first full time job. You think I've saved enough to pay back taxes on that? LMAO..... Good thing they also paid for the CPA. And they're going to reimburse for the penalties and interest... I think not. They'll be paying that up front for this one. Scholarship = taxable income = something I never should have sold my soul into... My best friend and I decided we'd rather be paying off the loans than living under this shitty scholarship contract for the rest of time... I'll be going to home depot and buying at least one toilet seat for NASA!! And that's just for 2004! hehe Carrie
