It was such a battle to get here, and very shortly it will be over. The contractions are 2 minutes apart and very strong. They gave Jen valium, morphine, and pitucin. The combo has her whacked. I don't know if that's going to make this worse or better. It's midnight, so Ethan made it one more day officially. He's 20 weeks and 2 days on this, his birthday, his only day.
I can't help but be mad at the world. Mad at the universe. I hope this doesn't make me as bitter as I feel right now. I want to be a good person, but I don't see what it has bought me over the years. Karma. You'd think it would come back some day. Fuck it. I get to bury my twin boys the same month that the company I turned into a $320 million acquisition fires me for being on medical leave too long. WTF? I try, I really try. What the hell does it get me? The woman I love more than anything in the world is suffering like hell right now. What kind of shit is that? Sorry to vent. I'm just stunned at the bullshit we have to endure. Clusters, unjust taxes up the ass, ex-wife from hell, and now this. When does it end? What the hell am I here for?
I can't help it, I'm sorry for the unnecessary vulgarity. I feel robbed and beaten. Ignore me.

It's 3:45 am. Jen's water broke, and the contractions have become incredibly painful. This is the most horrific thing I can imagine. All this pain and anguish just to bury another baby. They just finished giving her an epidural, so that should help. They say life is not fair. This is proof.
