Have had a great day --- was going to work, but broke a fingernail and said the hell with it.... went to the casino instead...
A whole day of ADULT company (I love Caleb, but a whole day of ADULT company!)... Got to drinking Bloody Mary's and .... just really had a great time... Ran into some old friends from Texas and had ADULT conversations about ADULT things.... Almost forgot what's that's like... Drank some more Bloody Mary's.....
Son was working today, so I told him we could go to dinner - just the two of us - like ADULTS... big change -- he liked the idea and the casino thought it was a good idea and comped us to dinner --- I met him in the bar -- drank some more Bloody Mary's..... we ate dinner and talked like ADULTS.... I didn't have to tell him to sit down at the table once. He used his fork and knife just like a real grown up ADULT! I was so proud. Had another Bloody Mary to celebrate.
Son got a little worried about Mom and wondered if she should be driving home alone. Told him I'd crawled home in worse condition than I was in tonight. Anyhow I got home safe and sound (took the back roads just in case ... I'm dumb and old -- not Stupid!).
Now I'm all mellowed out and ready to take my nighty night meds and go for a nice sleepy pie. No more Bloody Mary's for this old broard tonight. But it's been a really nice ADULT day.
Hope everyone had a great day like Granny did..... And a PF tomorrow to ya'll.... Nighty nite now....

Hi Barbara, it is good to sometimes just let loose. Glad you had a great time, I crave for adult conversation myself.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day yesterday, good for you Barb!
Here it was different, we took the kids to a junior whitetails banquet and afterward while going home, hubby's transmission went on his car and then when going to pick up the car and bring it home with a chain, the thermostat blew on the truck. I kept praying he wouldn't hit a deer with my car when he went into work for 2:30am this morning. 
So far no phone calls! 
Anyway, I tried a new drink last night, it's called Seagram's Smooth Liquid Haze in Wicked Dark Berry Blend, and you buy it in a 6 pack. It's purple and quite yummy if I do say so myself! Of course, I'm only limited to 2, as I drink them too fast.
