... will represent Finland in Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens, Greece!
I'm not sure if I should grin or freak out... Anyways, the band is called Lordi and they got 43% of all the votes. Yes, this year it was the audience who decided the winner. I've always been against that, but hey, at least this year nobody can accuse us for sending a boring artist to represent us! 
Their song is titled Hard Rock Hallelujah.

Nani, I know... But I'll be watching the Eurovision Song Contest anyway. It will be interesting to see if Lordi can lead us into a better result that our representers in previous years. I doubt that, though...

Well, when 4 guys touch the instruments some tones come out and when the man in the middle opens his mouth something like singing comes out... Their music is called "monster heavy", if I'm not mistaken. Some like it, some doesn't. I thought that their song for Eurovision Song Contest was ok, but not the kind I'd listen every day. I woundn't but the records, but I might not turn off the radio when their song is on.

I'm glad that you do. When the Eurovision Song Contest comes, naturally I hope that they'll make it to the final and then do well. I am patriotic woman, after alll.
I've heard that Lordi has been on tour in Europe with another Finnish group called Nightwish. Lordi was the warm up act. So they've got some fans outside Finland. It will be interesting to see what happends at Eurovision Song Contest.
