I'm not feeling well.
stomach woke me up at 1:30 tis morning, making too many gurgling sounds. rolled over, same thing happened, but it hurt more. kept me up till 3.
i feel like crap

Put gettin a flu shot on yer 'things to do next year list' cuz that mite help spare ya at least the worst of the effects or it not last as long. Blan diet is nuther trick my doc told me years ago cuz dairy products and spicey food really get that bug motivated.....esp dairy stuff. (that means cheeses and everything connected) Health for self Pam

Actually, flu shots are specific to influenza (the CDC decides which one might be the big problem that year and the shots are aimed only to that specific strain of influenza). Sadly, it won't help prevent the 50,000 other bacteria and virus' that float around all year.
Some people don't like flu shots because they get sick. Well, real influenza makes you a whole lot sicker and can knock you on your ass for 2 whole weeks.

Bummer! Had the same thing the beginning of this week. Thought it was just the jitters from going back to work after the last 2 weeks of hell... when it was still bugging me at noon I knew it was the dreaded stomach crud that is making the rounds... Argh! Ya gave it to me... Left werk early last night... Didn't feel like working on the van, so I'm kickin' myself for that now... And now I'm waiting to see if I'll feel up to werkin' tonight. My luck, if I call off tonight, it'll be the one that boots me out the door. I definitely don't need that right now... Ain't hardly gonna be able to afford to support myself pretty soon as it is... It'll be that much worse if I'm not werkin'. LOL
