It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

I don't understand why, considering the Iraq war and all, that we couldn't find an American company to run the ports.  Could it be that the awarding of the contract to the UAE is some sort of payback for them from George and company?  For those of you who are of the WWII "Baby boom" generation, there was a musical on Broadway in the early 60's named "Lil Abner", after the cartoon strip.  The bad guy of the show was General Bullmoose.  He was a multi-billionaire who controlled a great number of large corporations-defense ones among them- an automobile making company (guess which one from his name and win a prize!) and pretty much owned the US president and a large number of Congressmen and Senators.  There was a great song that went along with this character (played by, I believe, the late, great Keenan Wynn when I saw the show) and the chorus was:  "What's good for General Bullmoose is good for the USA!"  Somehow that reminds me of the current administration. only that now we have more than one General Bullmoose-a bunch of large corporations-running the country.  Did anyone read the article (I did in the NY Times last week) that even though the US Army has found that they were overcharged by Halliburton Corp. (Shotgun Chaney's old company), they decided to pay Halliburton the extra money...I think that the reason was that the investigation concluded that since Halliburton didn't "intentionally" overcharge the government, to the tune of a few hundred million dollars, I believe, they should be allowed to keep the money that they got for doing nothing Shocked!  Imagine if you or I or some small company pulled the same scam-we'd be in prison so fast that we'd get a ticket for speeding.  God, three more years of this stuff to put up with-HELP! Cry

Hilarious stuff kids. The internet is unreal

I read the Times piece on the contracts too. If I remember, it was that they normally reject something like 60% of this kind of corporate larceny. This time it was something like a 2 or 3 percent rejection.

It doesn't matter much the facts on the port deal. It looks effen stupid and that is enough to redo the thing.

Dumb. Real dumb but it's worshipped these days.
