| Easy answer. In the middle East they use bombs. In the US they use planes and SUVs.

I think we're going to see more and more of this sort of stuff. It's a shame, but human nature being what it is...... Back when I was a kid, it was just the Catholics they discriminated against (and I was Catholic). In my high school there were only 4 Catholics. Once had a teacher tell me I was going to hell because I worshiped statutes (this was back in the 50s). Spent the rest of the day in the principal's office, but I got my say in first. Frankly, having been on the "wrong" end of religious discrimination, I think it's the "fear" of the unknown that causes people to yell about it. It's not Islam that scares people - it's because a "few" that were of that religion did something bad so therefore ALL of that religion are bad. You know - spot is a dog - spot has spots - so all dogs have spots. What this guy did is wrong and he should be punished. But the kids who are protesting should be protesting "violence" not religion along with it. Now get the popcorn and let the games begin....... Hugs BD

On one of the few times I watch TV, CSI was on. In this episode, some guy made a bullet from hamburger to kill a guy. I think we should make a bullet made from PORK and shoot this looser, in the guts. Then tell him what has been done. (pork is a sin to muslims)

Seems to me, the biggest problem with that whole BS is that it is assumed by both sides that terrorist = muslim... People tend to forget that there has been, and still are, many non-muslim terrorist groups. No... I don't think what the psycho did was an act of terrorism. I think it was an act of homicidal rage. The psycho needed a reason to run down a bunch of students in order to get into the paper, so he turned to the "thankful for the opportunity to spread the will of Allah" reason. Hell... In this country, he prolly wouldn't even have had to come up with such a cliche reason, considering his name is Mohammed, everyone would've assumed the reason for it. But one psycho renting a Jeep to run down innocent students does not a terrorist make. How many terrorists have you heard of that commit the act, then peacefully turn themselves in? If he's a terrorist, he's about the lamest terrorist ever (and personally, I find terrorists to be the most lame and cowardly ppl on earth). People should stop associating muslims with terrorists. Any true muslim will tell you that the "will of Allah" is not to murder innocents. Islam teaches peace... Just because homicidal muslims choose to hide behind jihad and death to America, does not mean all muslims believe this... Terrorist and their supporters are not even the majority of muslims, but because they make so much noise, they're the only ones westerners notice. Wonder if I go out and run over a bunch of random ppl for no good reason, and claim to do it to spread the will of PETA, if I'll get called a terrorist and make the paper. PFDAN.......................................... Drk^Angel

I just had this "diabiotacal" thought..... A clusterhead walks into a public place during lunch-hour -- has a CH - maybe we should shoot for a Kip-10 -- gets arrested for "whatever" (with a 10 - whoa - it could be anything!) and OUCH takes credit for it..... Of course, after a careful study of the condition, they'd get released but look at all the publicity...... Just a thought... I'm going to work now and do something positive..... count beans.... | Some PETA members are into vandalism. But to be a terrorist, you have to strike terror into someone - I don't know anyone terrified of PETA. I think its more like pesterism or irritateism than terrorism. They are having a rally nearby this weekend. I'll visit, take pictures, and let you know what I think.

Peta does endorse the destruction of labs that experiment on animals, striking terror into the workers there. But at least so far the ( I may be wrong and can accept that if so) havn't killed so far, people but have killed animals. I agree several terror groups non muslim but none as feirce and dedicated to there cause as to strap on a bomb and dying for it. I dont have exact names and numbers just from memory of what I have seen and heard. Mike

You don't have to be dedicated to a cause to strap a bomb to yourself... All you have to be is foulish, and not have the technology to build a timer, or remote detonation device. Hell... According to TV, half the bank robbers strap dynamite to themselves before entering the bank. Seems the IRA was pretty damned fierce, but they seemed to prefer remote detonation. And McVeigh... Okay... He was fucked up in the head, but at least he could use a timer. Prolly the most cowardly act there is (besides turning yourself in) is blowing yourself up, so that you don't have to pay for your actions. Of course, they're going to the Islamic version of Hell, but at least they're doing it for a cause that they were brainwashed into thinking was good, but was actually completely opposite of the teachings of their religion. MURDER IS MURDER. I DONT CARE WHO DID IT FRY THEM. I like what George Carlin once said about how to curb Capital Crimes. Make all executions Public. Say like Half time of the Monday Night Football game. Let those who would see what is in store for them if they commit Capital Crimes.

| Actually, suicide bomb belts were developed in the Sri Lankan civil war, and they spread to the Middle East later. Around 100,000 dead from the Sri Lankan civil war - not all from suicide bombers, but nobody cares about brown on brown terrorism in a tiny country with no strategic importance (oil). And the Japanese had their kamikazee planes.
