Took some time off from straightening out Cardogman to go down to Daytona over the weekend. Took some photos, this was from a t-shirt that made me think of you guys This one made me think of other things: I even took some pictures of motorcycles!! Will post more over the next weeks, but keepin an eye on Burt is a full time job, so I don't know how soon that will be. Just kidding, Burt.

| Oh, yeah, crowded. This year the events are more dispersed - there is the traditional Main Street area, the Speedway area, and a lot of stuff around the world's largest Harley Dealer (new building at I-95 + Ormond Beach exit. But still a hundred thousand or so bikes!!

Do you ride and if so what? I can't wait for the weather to warm up a little here so I can get going. Just completed some work on my deuce. New Tin with flames and a lot of chrome. Changed the handlebars to mini apes and I am ready. The weather here in New York blows. I swear to God that I got to get out of here someday. Burt

I'm purely a spectator when it comes to bikes. I enjoy watching, but couldn't afford to own a nice bike, and don't trust myself on it, much less the other cars on the road. I went over the handlebars of a bicycle when I was young and slid down a hill on my face. The face recovered, but I still have neck problems, and am wondering about the head trauma/clusters connection. So for me, 4 wheels, please.

My friend has a deuce........so you ride doggyman ? Cool.......we have two old stroker shovels. Been ridein for over 30 years..........new bikes are as much as a car now days. We paid $ 1,300.00 for a 1942 45 flathead civilian model for our first harley. It's in sum sort of private museum now up in Michigan. Wish we still had that one !! The '49 panhead ruin'd my neck for starters hittin a basketball sized chuckhole after the semi in front of us straddled it and we didn't know it was comein. No suspension.......cool bike tho. Now we like how SHOVEL'S RULE Pam We put on a few poker runs spring and fall and donate the money for charity.......lots of fun. But we don't have the traffic they have in Florida........course we have amish buggies to dodge that are bad enuff. The traffic in Myrtle beach actually scared me for spring bike week when we got into the thick of things. Do they have a Suck Bang Blow bar in Florida and NY ? I love that bar.........ate too much rubber the one nite.......blech ! And the band disapear'd in the smoke......gag. We have nice more quiet country rideing out here. We have a sidecar on the '69 shovel....got to ride in it twice before the weather got bad last fall.....kinda fun and I can take alot more STUFF. Had one on the Panhead too years back.

I almost bought that !!! We were there a few weeks ago and I got my kids some hats with the bike week promo on them. They were thrilled. (We're from Saskatchewan, so it was a big deal) It was a week before the race and we had never seen anything like it. The weather was leass than ideal, but it didn't stop us from going and standing on the beach, and singing kareoke at the bar at the end of International Speedway Boulevard. The oldest boy wants to go there in two years. (He'll be 18 )

Yeah Cootie Trolls ride too I'm on my 3rd HD. I've had a Low Rider, Heritage Softail and now this Deuce which is really nice. those old Pan Heads and Shovel Heads in good condition are worth some money now. The traffic on Long Island sucks. You can't get anywhere. Riding here is like taking your life in to your hands but I do it anyway. In the nice whether I ride just about every day, into NYC to the office all around. It's fun and it de-stresses me. As they say live to ride ride to live or something like that. Burt

So are you callin yerself a troll..........I used to have a close friend with a pierced nose we called Troll......he was a wild man but so much fun. One hell of a partier tho and then he joined a motorcycle club called Booze/fighters. Troll fighter Pam That would be total stress ridein in that kinda traffic daily.......I'll take my buggy dodgeing over that anyday. Real country out here ridein........lots of woods and hills and curvey roads. Nice friendly local small town bars for a greasy meal and few cold ones. Oh and did I mention deer ??????
