Pain, pain, so I wait, but the pain waits for me to break, I try holding on.
But these shadows, these shadows keep coming my way, oh so faithful to betray me.
Through the darkness in my life, through the shadows of my fear, it’s finally here.
Through my pain, I try to hide, but there’s no place for me to hide.
Thrown into confusion, the shadows cover the light, the darkness surrounds me.
Bruised and broken, no good on my own, don’t listen to those lies.
Angel of mercy, teach me to fly, catch me I’m falling, don’t let me die.
