Um, is that a typo?

600 bucks? For an album?
Nirvana's "Bleach" cost $6'000 to make independently, and that was about 17 years ago.

Damn. Lucky bastages! I love it when stuff like that happens. A St Louis band recorded one song for a local radio station's indie sampler disc, and wound up with a major contract. Maybe you heard of them - Gravity Kills. They recently disbanded however, and did their final show this past October "The Killoween Show".

I'm trying to get one song into the hands of Trent Reznor. That would change my life forever. He has a habit of turning nobodies like Brian Warner into rockgod superstars like Mary Manson.

My fave success story is the guy who wrote the script to the movie "Rocky" did so while he was living in his car. Of course, after Rocky became a huge hit, he didn't live in that car anymore.   Cool

Peace,
Carl D
