A Slow News Day

The Philadelphia channel 3 news yesterday must have had a seriously slow news day. The big story they were using as a hook for the day's commercials was a story about a cat that got out during the storm, was picked up by the SPCA, and euthanised before the owner could get in to retrieve it. (about 36 hours). Now, I think that this is extremely unfortunate, but this is a big world, and you meen to tell me that there was nothing else they could report?

Hasn't that channel 3 heard it's Let's-Beat-Up-Dick Cheney-Week? That's all we get here. Every newscast. I don't like the guy but damn, it's a nonevent, give us break! Shot happens. Get over it.
