Acne before CH cycle

I normally have clear skin (about the only thing I was blessed with)
I have noticed a few weeks prior to getting hit, I get really oily hair and skin and incredible acne. Not just a few pimples here and there, but an entire "connect the dot" Salvador Dali picture. Anyone else notice this?

I once "heard" that most clusterheads have bad skin, I definately do. It probably has to do with the hypothalmus I would think Jen.
Flo you have any documentaion on this to help out ??

I went my whole life without any type of pimple or blemish.
The only time I ever get any type of zit is when on heavy doses of corticosteroids.
No help here.

Not sure, Sean, I couldn't find anything in the research except one abstract about menstrual influence on clusters - and that didn't tell me anything, acne was just a keyword. Acne could be hormonal, could be related to immune function, the hypothalamus, or ??
