I am right handed and having surgery done on my right rotator cuff. My arm will be in a sling for a couple of weeks and I have to do 4-6 months of intense physical therapy. I do not know when or how often I will be able to post over the next month or so. Please keep me in your thoughts or prayers for I wont be able to do much for awhile. Thanks and lots of love, Karla

Get well soon - and remember to do all they tell you in rehab. It's really important - take it from one who didn't do it and paid the price later. Take care - sit around - and let the men in your life take up the slack for a while - it's a good life lesson for them. Carol

Hi guys! Thanks for your prayers. It means alot. I really scared the nurses for awhile. My blood pressure after surgery dropped to 60/40. The nurse called the dr and, he said "how is she feeling?" She said fine. The dr said she isn't dead so don't worry. The nurses had a cow and made the dr come look at me. I requested them to bring my husband into the room. Ted came in my blood pressure shot up to 110/70. The dr arrived and said what is the problem? The nurses were like she just needed her husband is all. lol No seriously they were scaring me with their reactions. However I am doing great now. Still spending alot of time in bed. They gave me dilaudid for pain control and it makes me sleepy but is controling most of the pain. I still have a burning sensation on my sholder and have been iceing it. I got my stitches out already after 24 hours. My arm is out of the sling but I am suppose to just be sqeezing a ball and hanging and swinging my arm to elbow. However, I am trying to do more and maybe to much and that is why it hurts so bad today because I overdid it yesterday. I thought my arm would be in a sling for a couple of weeks and that I would be more tired from the pain meds than what I am. Thats why I posted I didn't know when I would be able to post. Guess things are going better than planned. I sure hope the rest of my recovery goes ahead of plan. I am looking at a long hall of physcial therapy ahead of me. Lots of love!
