I thought the IRS were bad guys. I was wrong. Did my 2005 taxes and recieved a major slap again . So I called them and they took their valuable time to set up a 9 point financial management plan for me. Here it is: 1. Live in a tent. 2. Do laundry in the river. Use generic soap like sea gull shit. 3. While I'm down at the river......pick muscles. 4. Commute by bicycle. 5. Buy balogna in bulk. 6. Annual charitable donations to something called the "Halliburton Relief Fund" 7. Reduce social activities by staying in my tent and have a balogna and muscle buffet. 8. Secondary employment. They faxed over a map of local area dumpsters. 9. Sign the IRS on as my death benefit beneficiary. That way my balance can get paid after I'm dead. Thanks IRS guys! Peddaling off to the river now.

I've e-filed before and I even Tele-Filed last year. I don't see either option directly from the IRS this year; just link-throughs to Tax Preparers. anybody know what happened?

I use Turbo Tax and have for years. I do our personal taxes, long form, and three businesses (Schedule C) forms, with all the depreciation crap, office in the home, travel & entertainment( we entertain a lot) So far, I've been pleased. Maybe I could get a bigger refund if I went somewhere else, but I doubt it. It's a simple but very complete program, and it also does my state taxes. And, it's cheaper than hiring an accountant - three business after all - he'd rape me! Sandy
