Ladies & gents, the results are in.
Finland's president for the next 6 years is....
She got 51,8% of all the votes.
Conan O'Brien must be one happy man right now. His fave candidate won.

Those who watch Conan regularly know that Conan has made lots of comments about Tarja Halonen at his show. He has been supporting Halonen's campaign in his own way. Conan is actually coming to Finland in February and he has mentioned that he wants to meet Tarja Halonen during that visit. I have no idea if the meeting will be arranged, but it will be interesting to see what Conan will air about the visit. Back here in Finland we just love to have people from abroad to acknowledge our little country.
