I've had a strange ringing in my ears for the last several days. I'm sure it could be well, everything.

I have hearing loss in my right ear from stage volume after 20+ years of loud music. A combo of always standing stage right with my monitor in my right ear as well as my amp. I rarely ever get ringing in the ear though unless I have a meegraine which I rarely get, but have had 2 since new years eve. I do however sometimes get earaches that coincide with CH, but not usual to have ringing in the ears unless I just came from a very loud concert. Peace, Carl

Stop taking all that aspirin for your Cluster headaches. No really, too much aspirin can, and does cause tinnitus. Linda

I’ve had tinnitus for about two & a half years now, it bothered me a little when I first got it but it doesn’t any more. What I have found is that when I went through my last cycle the ringing would stop just before I was about to get hit; it took me a while to figure but it became an indicator as to when a hit was coming so now I’m kinda glad it’s there. My ears are alive with the sound of ringing. Kind Regards Barry

| Ah ha. I took the stuff too and my ears rang all the time. That and other reasons is why I no longer use it for my seizures. Maybe it won't last for you though. Charlie

Meds can definitely cause a ringing in the ears. I've had a ringing in my ears ever since I tried Tegretol (carbamazepine) as a preventative for CH in January last year. The ringing was the only thing, effect or side effect, I got out of Tegretol.

I have it all the time in both ears........not sure why.......but I think it is one reason I like alot of 'background' noise all the time like the tv on all day ect. I am kinda sorta used to it but sometimes I slow down and then I realize it more. If I am out where it is really noisey like to see a band it sounds more like obnoxious crickets when I get home and go to bed. THAT about drives me insane. I used to listen to alot of LOUD music with speakers real close to me or headphones on and music SUPER loud. So.....I dunno what my cause is exactly. Ringy dingy Pam I get vertigo too off and on........talk about STRANGE.

The feedback. It's got to be the Topamax. It really is the only recent addition. I'm going to be taliking to my Neuro about getting off fo this stuff tomorrow anyway , so we'll see how it goes. I'll report back if it changes anything. Many PFDs&Ns

I have it constantly in my right ear. It is so bad that my hearing on that side is almost non-existant. The left side also has it but not as bad. It is so bad sometimes that it keeps me awake at night. I also have a history of very loud music and working construction around heavy equipment and loud power tools. I don't think it's med related at all.
