To anyone that feels as though I have attempted to ram GOD down their throats. Pretty silly isn't it when you have the option to read and respond/or not.
I don't get that.
You don't like what someone thinks or has thought, don't read, pretty simple if you ask me.

As you could have just as easily bypassed the responses you got which didn't suit you, simply isn't it, or is it?

I didn't respond feeling as though God was being "rammed". I was straight with you. If that's what you need to do to deal with it, then fine. But you might accept that many others have maybe made it through the other side of this self-flaggelation question and come up with our own answer that works for us. And, while acknowledging what the CH experience does for our spirit (good and bad), don't feel as though the hands of God are at work in my hypothalamus.
Continuing to claim victimhood, first from CH, and then God, and then at the hands of others on this board is a place that many spend time in. Then we move on and simply get on with it.

Scott,
Only a partial quote please excuse me..it is because others have made it through the flaggelation that I made the statements in the first place. I am not new to ch but I am new to being able to talk with others about it that suffer from the same.
I realize everyone is different, thankfully so. It is hard for me to imagine having this and being isolated all my life.
Every neurologist out there should know about this site. I have since, finding you people thought about the times when I held the pills in my hand and thought about it. It scares the hell out of me now...scares the hell out of me how close several times. Even the love of my children and the love for my family was in the balance, it just did not seem to matter while in the middle. I kept telling myself, hold on man it will quit, god it will won't it...please.
I have cried from the pain and isolation. Now I cry because I'm not alone anymore.
I have made it a project to make this site known...Maybe that's why I'm here...Maybe someone else out there is as close as I have been to putting those pills in their mouth and swallowing. Maybe I have found the reason.

While I understand what you are trying to say about wanting to end it all, pills are a dumb-ass way to do the deed. You'll just wake up in a pool of vomit or in the hospital's mental ward. It's pretty damn hard to do it that way, and very few attempts are successful.

No apology necessary. You haven't rammed God down my throat. I was born/baptised Protestant, convertited to Catholic when I married a Catholic and we had children, bailed from Catholic to ??? I don't believe in organized religion of any persuasion, but I do believe in God, because I pray to Him daily. Some of us don't believe in God at all, because how can He cause us so much pain. But????
You know God, in whatever form you choose to believe in Him, does not want you to take your own life, no matter what the provocation. So, bottom line is, if you take those pills, or put a gun between your teeth, your God, as you believe Him to be, won't be a happy camper. It won't work with your God, and it won't work with your CH family,meaning US on these boards. We are here for you.
