Telemarketer revenge.....

The phone rang as I was setting down to my anticipated evening meal, and as I answered it, I was greeted with, "Is this William Wagenhoss?" This didn't sound anything like my name, so I asked, "Who is calling?" The tele-marketer said he was with the Siding Company or something like that, and then I asked him if he knew William personally and why was he was calling this number. I then said off to the side, "Get really good pictures of the body and all the blood." I then turned back to the phone and advised the caller that he had entered a murder scene and must stay on the line because we had already traced this call, and he would be receiving a summons to appear in the local courthouse to testify in this murder case. I then questioned the caller at great length as to his name, address, phone number at home, at work, who he worked for, how he knew the dead guy, and could he prove where he had been about one hour before he made this call. The tele-marketer was getting very concerned and his answers were given in a shaky voice. I proceeded to tell him we had located his position at his workplace, and the police were entering the building to take him into custody. At that point, I heard the phone fall and the scurrying of his running away. My wife asked me as I returned to our table, why I had tears streaming down my face and so help me, I couldn't tell her for about fifteen minutes. My meal was cold, but oh-so-very enjoyable.

Please tell me you just "thought" about doing this and that you didn't really just pull this off. It is to funny to be true. I wish I had thought of it today when some solicitor had called me for the firemans donation drive they seem to have 4x a year. Good for you.

| Karla, would you really say... "Get really good pictures of the body and all the blood." ? "advised the caller that he had entered a murder scene." ? "and the police were entering the building to take him into custody." ? Isn't the firemen's donation drive friendly with your church? Would your pastor condemn the firemen for the work they do ? Karla, what would Jesus do ? BB

My ding-dong daughter answered one of the survey solicitors questions, and they sent her $5.00 cash and a paper survey to fill out. After she sent that in, they sent her $10.00 cash! (the little weenie) Guess that is 15 reasons to actually answer their questions, huh?

I answered a pay phone at work once when I was younger. I worked at a mall and I showed up early to have coffee with a buddy. I pick up the phine and say 'WLUP!!! (Popular Chicago radio station in the 80s) Your on the air!!!'. I kept a phone solicitor on the phone for over 30 minutes thinking that he was getting all of this free air time plugging his crap that he was trying to sell. I even got my buddy in on it. He was standing there listening and turning three shades of blue trying not to laugh out loud. When the guy asked if he could mention his product on the air, I told him I 'd have to check with my staion manager first. I handed the phone to my buddy and he straightened up and got right in to character. The best part of the call was the very last line before I hung up. I told him 'This is a pay phone you F@#$%^g moron!!!'.

I'll try to remember this the next time some telemarketer calls me up at 8am and doesn't get that I'm not interested in whatever product he/she has to offer... Sanna
