We all need support when in cycle old and new!

I recieved a letter when I first went into cycle this last time, from a fairly new member of ch.com
They said they were praying for me to be pain free, even though as a old timers I
did not need support. I was so happy somone was praying for me. I was not real sure that us old timers didn't need support.
Thinking about this the last few weeks. I think we all need support old and new. I been on ch.com since 1999 and I have learned how to handle the pain better, how to live a better life and deal with the pain. Some times when the pain is so bad, even being a old timer,
you don't even feel like you have enough energy to help yourself. You start thinking , well I tried everything and nothing worked for me. Then you get in that depressed mood that can really cause damage. Even us old timers need support, a uplift from time to time. Some times a ass kicking! Some times we need someone to step up to the plate and say ! DO WHAT I SAY! Thank God I had that ! I had tried o2 before and it did not help. Well someone said, Elaine try the o2 again. I did and it worked. What did not work last cycle might work this cycle. We are to tired to even think to try what we tried before. We need people to push us and kick out ideas. Some times we need a shoulder to cry on. We all need it old and new.
I would be feeling so tired and know I couldn't go to sleep and I would turn on my computer and find a song someone sent me, or a card, or just a prayer or joke in my email. Then the call I would get saying " Hey you ok?" Those things gave me energy, a smile and reminded me I wasn't alone. Every bit of support is important.
We can't take the pain away for each other, we can't be with each other durning the attacks to make sure they are ok. What we can do is never let anyone going though cycle alone. The emails the cards,the post, the calls. They help ! Even the tuff guys on here need support one time or other. Give extra care to the New people that come aboard. The old timers are less likely to ask for support, but we need it, we are just stubborn.
Just something for everyone to think about old and new.
