Hey Yep its me again unfortunatly with a problem of a different nature that can affect my headache problem in a very big way. For the past three nights I am just wide awake at like 3 or so in the AM well get this tonight I do my usual take but take 9mg Melatonin instead of 6mg and am feeling really tired by ten PM I think I am gonna get a good night sleep then boom bolt right up out of sleep at 1 AM on the nose not a second before or after and weird thing is I can't fall back to sleep its like my body says I can't sleep I just lay there but fear that some time this week this is going to catch up with me and this is not good. Sleep deprivation not a good thing for the old noggin. I am wondering if the problem doesn't have to do with some of the cold medication that I take but never recall having this problem in the past. Oh who knows sorry just confused about what is my problem lately. Hope you are all snuggled deep inside your covers pain free....Kim

Kim, sorry you're hurting. Try drinking lots of water. Sleepy thoughts, Brian.

Its fear of sleeping, we all go through it that suffer his grip at night. Try to relax and hopefully you'll wind down. My best advice is try NOT to fight sleep. You won't stop him, either way he's gonna do what he's gonna do if he's gonna do it. Our best fight is knowing we have everything ready when he decides to knock on the door and then we can put the fire out. Trying to fight sleep always makes him meaner, because by the time you do wake up he's rippin a kip 10 because you were so exhausted I hope you get some relief soon Sean...................................................

Hi Kim Totally agree with Sean. Dont be afraid to sleep. Just have everything ready and then close those eyes. Hope you are through this again soon. Shaz

Kim, Try buy stopping the cold medicine, I know for me that benadryl can keep me awake, unless I take it right before I go to bed. The best way to get to sleep is to try to stay awake. Insomnia can also be caused by depression so if it continues, get that checked out too. Opus/Paul
