Suddenly last night I was logged on CH.com and then got logged off. Just like that! Tried again, got logged on but as soon as I click on a topic I got automatically logged out. Tried and tried again, defragmentated, ran virus scans, etc... nothing. Downloaded Mozilla, now I stay logged on??? Must be an Internet Explorer problem then Anybody else this problem?

The only thing that keeps you logged in is cookies. If the CH.com cookie became missing or corrupt you would be logged out at every page change or refresh. Perhaps Bill Gates got hungry. Opus/Paul

| I thought it says "My Computer" because it is Bill's. I haven't learned how to use IE yet, but I assume like FireFox you can view cookies and delete the offending ones. You could also delete them all if you have problems with other sites. The safest thing is to just use Firefox and to forget IE exists. Opus/Paul

Jazz.... I had the same thing happen on another website that uses YABB forum software. Simply rebooting solved the problem. Assuming you have already tried that, you can clear all your cookies from the "tools" tab...."internet options"......then "delete cookies". Bill

O... Pretty soon it won't even be 'My Computer' or 'My Documents'... It'll be 'Computer' or 'Documents'... Mayhaps M$ is removing that last little mirage that you actually own your Winblows system and are allowed to use it as you see fit. PFDAN..................................... Drk^Angel
