Time: midnight Date: 31 Dec 2005 Place: Dauan Island, Torres Strait, Australia Zone: Australian Eastern Standard Time. And there's no place we'd rather welcome the new year than right here, amongst family. Happy New Year everybody, and let's make it our best year ever. Cheers and beers, Brian and Denny.

Hallo Friends and Family. Brian has started this thread and it would be good if we could keep it going around the globe as a New Year comes upon us. As I see it the next beautiful person to time frame into this thread will be the one who is awake enough to pick it and bunt it on to the next, let’s see if this team can push it all the way through the time barrier back to the start. Let’s hope that the New Year brings us something special? Thank you for being the people you are and simply thank you for being you. Love Kind Regards Barry

Happy New Year (a little late) Brian. We still have a little more than 13 hours to go here. This evening 250,000 drunk people will gather and fight and pee on each other and get arrested on the Las Vegas Strip to watch the biggest, most expensive fireworks show ever in the history of the world be called off because of high wind. Oh well, I don’t care. The friggin’ tourists are paying for it all. And I’m going to be sound asleep at that time. Have a Happy New Year everyone.

| You're in the future Brian. Best of New Year to you. Not to change the subject, but I noticed there's an "Australia Day" January 26th. What is that and is that January 26th noted a day late on my calender compared to when you will celebrate the occasion? Nevermind, I'm lost.

It is 2:30am CAT(Central African Time) 01/01/2006 The drums are beating the ancient rhythm of life. It is 2006. To my brainy friend, Denny and all the CHers Down Under, now in my future and to all my friends and CH family that is still in my past a Happy New Year. I wish you all, my family, the best. Let dawn always be a sign of hope after even, the darkest night.

2.15 here in UK. Apologies for delay - we organised a "first-footing" for our nine-year-old grand-daughter (her first New Year awake) so a little bit behind in the felicitation department. Must be New Year on some ship in the Atlantic by now. Happy New Year to all of you whether you're in the past or the future. Baa
