Hello from Colorado!!!

Hi everyone I have been here just for a little bit and I already love this place.I really never had a place I could really go where people understand me.Well I will tell you all a little about myself.Which I should of done when I first found this place.I am a little shy.I guess when your a newcomer its always a little spooky.My name is Jen.I started episodic and now chronic.I believe its been 14+ years suffering with the beast.Could be longer.I am a wife and a mother.I have had several jobs that I just had to quit because of the beast.My favorite was working with adults and children with diabilities.Some of the best and smartest people are the ones with disabilities.And talk about unconditional love these people see the beauty in everyone.I have been sick every day since Dec 2003.Before that I had been going to beauty school.I figured that was my only option left.I thought that i could start my own buisness and at least i wouldn't have to leave the house.Well I only had 100 hours to go when i got sick again.I have been sick ever since.I dont think I will ever be able to finish.But who knows?My current treatment is shrooms.I know alot of you think its a little drastic but as you know cluster heads will try just about anything.And the only two things left were that and kudzu.I was mortified to try it at first no doubt.I only did it for a week and I could tell a big difference.I mean just one dose.I missed my next dose last weekend.They are hard to come by.I am going to try to grow my own.Will take next dose this weekend.Please wish me luck.Headache or not the first thing I look forward to when I wake up is getting on my computer to laugh,cry,understand,learn,listen,and most of all be nosey.  anyway just dont want to feel like a stranger around here.Okay?And by the way Nina Perdida is what my gram used to call me.She was more my mother though.She just recently passed .It means "Lost Little Girl".And Thank You to the people that contacted me when I got here.You help me get the courage to finally introduce myself. Howdy neighbor!
I'm also new here and your neighbor to the east. I have been acquainted with the beast for 20+ years and have tried just about everything legal. Had plenty of experience with the other back in the 70's  . Afraid I live in too small a community now to take the risk. I'd end up in the slammer for sure. But glad you have found the answer for you. This web site has been a true blessing for me the past couple of weeks, like you, just knowing there are others who understand.
