It's 10pm, I'm getting settled in ready for bed----just got a zing! piercing stab thru the left side of my head. Here we go again. I'll try to head it off (no pun intended) with a pain pill and a sleeping pill, but......... Maybe it's an April Fool's Day joke? Do any of you ever have any success catching these things in time?

Not with any pill. Oxygen or Imitrex shots will help if you catch it in time. Sorry you're hurting.

You can try melatonin to help you get through the night......
otherwise I don't think you mentioned what meds if any you take!

Didn't touch my ch and usually hampered my next day with a rebound smacker and grrroooggggyyyynnneess. I would personally find something that works from the posts not to mention all those fine tabs over there on the left.

careful using pain-pills ..they tend to cause rebound h/as .. .o2 is a great abortive for many . .. but, e-double's post has me curious, have you been diagnosed with ch?
