Big Day Tomorrow

My last thread NEW TO CLUSTERS>NOT HAPPY seems to be incorrect. All indications are that I do not have clusters nor migraines. As I stated before they are called thunder clap, lightning strike or ice pick headaches. Anyway tomorrow is MRI/MRA day to try to locate a cause. I guess what I don't get is that they have not come back. I had those 2 bad ones that sent me to the hospital and one smaller one that scared the crap out of me ( thought it was going to get worse ) but I've been fine ever since. I have actually tried to trigger one by doing things I thought might have caused the others but nothing. I even went out last night and got hammered but again nothing. Not that I really want the pain but I really want to know what causes them. Thanks For Listening....Kevin

The Doctor mentioned them both as if they were related. I may have mixed it up. on Mar 24th, 2005, 10:16pm, E-Double wrote:Glad you're PF Kevin!!! Hoping all is well and that MRI is clear...... Kevin, Going thru all of the tests (MRI/MRA) is a bit of a pain but it's good to rule out all possible causes of your pain. I see you live in Easton, PA. I'm down in Wilmington, Delaware. I go to Dr. Michael Cohen who is located in the GSB Building on City Line Avenue in Philadelphia. After seeing about 8 neurologists, I have found him to be the best and most compassionate. I know this may be a bit of a drive for you but I highly recommend him. I wish you the best and let us know how everything turns out. Cyndi
