Welcome Roger. At first I felt a bit of pain relief when my doctor put me on morphine sulfate and/or methadone 14 years ago thinking I just had migraines. But then I developed resistance and eventually the opioids were NO help at all. I know it helped you but narcotic addiction is just an additional problem and as your dosage wears off rebound headaches will probably add more pain to the clusters. And of course, withdrawal is a hoot! I wish you luck my friend and pain free days & nights. Joe

Roger I'm glad they help you but most people who have Ch find painkillers of any kind useless, and often damaging. It is a shame no-one gave you the correct treatment for CH at any point during your long years of suffering. I would urge any new people reading this to avoid painkillers and focus on the treatments that actually work Wendy
