I have been having migraines for about 2 months now. I have had the CT scan and all that because they thought it was a Brain Tumor, and now they are telling me that they are Cluster Headaches, and I'm on Relpax 40 mg  this is all new to me, but I'm so sick of being in pain Cry. It efforts my personal life and my professional life. I'm even considering switching to part time, because of the alot of time I have missed from work. I'm so happy that I found this message board and to see that their are others like me out here. I'm still learning to tell when the headaches start, so most of the time I end up taking the medicine during the highest level of it. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi Erika. Welcome big time! After introducing myself I was given some great advice, and that was to check out everything to the left side of the screen. This will help you understand more about your condition. If you  take the quiz's and the surveys it will help add to the database which helps us all and can actually direct you to other treatments and propor diagnosis of your condition. Just thank your lucky stars that you have been suffering a couple of months versus a couple of years or even decades. I am in no way making light of your present situation and wish you nothing but Pain Free Days (PFD's) in the future. This place means so much to the people here as you will see from reading about others in the message boards. Info is KING! Best wishes in your fight with the beast. Joe

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.
