Tired and depressed

I know that all of you suffer from the same thing just reading the chats and message boards.  Last April was when the pain started first Dr I went to told me I had Greater Occipital Nephropathy and started me on Neuroten.  Of course this visit was after suffering for a month and friends turning me into my instructor at clinicals in LPN school.  I was full time student will a job that was as needed basis so no medical I feared the cost of an ER visit and no matter how many times my husband wanted to take me I said no.  I layed in bed cryed and rocked back and forth every night with sharp pain but all day long was in some pain and at times I had to leave the classroom to stop from exposing my pain to others.  I continued on till August and slowly died.  It was a miracle I got my LPN license.  The toward the end of November I started getting these twinges and they got worse and again sent me to the Bathroom at work to cry didn't want to let the residents at the nursing home know that anything was wrong of course when it last till the present without relief it takes its toll on our bodies and I was showing it bad I can't put enough makeup on to cover up how I feel or stand straight enough.  The nurses have stoped asking about the CH because I look so upset when they ask.  Have had one ER visit and the rest so far have been controlable with an injection of Imitrex and then it dull and sharp shadows for me.  Thank God for this sight.

Kim

Did you ever try the 02?  Considering your workplace, I'd hide in the scrubs closet with an "E" tank and give it a shot.  I'm sure you've gone over the oxygen info by now.

Have a concentrator up to 10L but no luck.

Waiting for my insurance to approve an O2 tank at 12-15 L so in limbo right now.

Tanks at the nursing home don't even go very high and I feel bad using what tanks are used for the residents.  They have always come before me.  That is just how I am.

Don't think anyone here is looking for sympathy, Kim.  But we all need TLC and understanding and that you will get in abundance.  When you work in a helping profession, as I did for 20+ years, you spend all your resources on others.  You need your own tank refilled from time to time and this is a good place for that.  Wish I had found it years ago.
Hang in there.

CryNight number three of O2 and feel like I need an Imitrex.

I appreciate the TLC.  It is nice to come here and support, visit, laugh, cry, and gossip about the latest remedies with fellow CHers.  If it weren't for this place I wouldn't have known what I do. Wink
hugThanks...
Kim
