Hello Everyone.

Hello to everyone. My name is Ellick. I am from the UK. I have had Cluster Headaches episodes for about for about 10 years now with usually a year's remission between each one. I find it hard to remember the previous ones because I just want to forget them and I guess kid myself they don't exist. I often used to get to level 9 and ocassionally 10. When there I'd do almost anything to stop the pain. I think my episodes are usually about 6 weeks. Currently I am getting 2 attacks a day and my 4th week. I have some ideas and thoughts, dont know if they are any good but will certainly be checking them out on this site. Cried when I read other people's accounts of the pain. It was affirmation for me because I feel that I have carried it on my own for so long. Diagnosed 2 years ago but no-one told me what Clusters were. Dont think the name really describes it for a start. I have a sense of relief, apprehension and fear that I have finally found a place to talk about this. My best wishes to you all. ET. (they really are my initials). x

Hi ET...insert joke here ... Welcome and I'm sorry you're here. You've come to great place to gather information and get support. There's a lot of info at the OUCH UK site as well as resources. I'm rather fond of a few of the sufferers over there, too. I hope you find lots of help here (look at all the buttons on the left) and there. Pain free wishes, nani

Thanks for the replies. I am currently trying Magnets as a drug free alternative. Not sure they are a quick fix , or anything else for that matter but I will try. I am going to check out O2 from the advices and information on the site. Thanks again. My best wishes to you. Ellickx
